| My day today |
So much for best laid plans! I had intended to spend a good bit of time doing schoolwork. And I did! I got caught up a little. And now I'm sick again. What's with that? I tried going to school this morning. Dad always told me to at least get out of bed, get dressed, and try to start your day. 9 times out of 10 you feel better than you think you do. Well, this must of been the 1 time. I managed to get to my 8:30 class, managed to live through it. Met up with a couple friends afterwards in the cafeteria. We talked for a few minutes and I felt like I was going to pass out. I figured I really should go home when a random guy walked by, looked at me weird, and said, "Are you sick?" (No, neither the girls I was with or I knew who he was.) If it is that obvious, then I can justify skipping a couple classes.
Having to blow one's nose a lot and having a nose stud is not a good combo. :(
But worth it! :)
Oh guess what!? Chelsea and I bought jump ropes! Cruel and unusual punishment for our neighbors downstairs but hours of entertainment for us.
Here's a picture from the strike. Wednesday of last week, all the Israeli students went on strike. Something about the government not helping out with funding or something. I was not totally clear. They had all the main entrances chained closed and people posted at the car gates and smaller entrances to deter people from going in. Chelsea and I got stopped but were quickly shooed through after one of the strikers asked me a question and I responded in my strong American accent, "Uh... What?" He switched to English and said, "Oh, nevermind." And waved us through. :D
Oh the excitement of living in Israel!
