A Hard Days Night
In three weeks I have:
  • Covered seven chapters of Hebrew
  • Taken three exams and three or four quizzes
  • Toured the Ethiopian Church in downtown Jerusalem
  • Eaten Ethiopian food twice (I might have a slight addiction)
  • Wandered around the United Buddy Bears exhibit
  • Hung out with my roommate
  • Did an insane amount of studying
  • Woken up before 8:00 four days out of the week (that is more impressive than you'd think!)
It is hard to believe that I am already halfway through my summer Hebrew course. I knew it would go fast but, dang. I have hardly been able to breathe since I got back to the country. I just keep thinking, "I just have to make it through September 24th." Then I'm home free! Well, at least I have four weeks off. Chelsea and I are already planning on taking a short trip. We'll be spending the rest of the time writing papers but at least we'll get some R&R in there!

These are from the United Buddy Bears exhibit. They have artists from every country paint a bear to best represent their country:

Yay! This is my girl :) The land that I love!

Stealin a kiss from the Holy Land :D

Walk like an Egyptian... (been there, done that!)

Yea, these are pretty nice bears :)
Before 8 is so hard! I started biblical hebrew, as you know, and I wake up every day at 7..... is this maybe a problem of Hebrew as a language? Then I dont like hebrew any more.
Miss you so much. Hope to talk with you soon!
